Downer’s annual Sustainability Report provides our people, customers, investors and other stakeholders with an understanding of our sustainability progress. It has been prepared with reference to relevant sustainability frameworks and standards, and is intended to provide transparent information on our progress, challenges and priorities.
This year, Downer has included our Climate Statement in the Annual Report, detailing Downer’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets and strategies, and analysing climate-related risks and opportunities. This inclusion supports Downer’s preparation for the upcoming Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards, which take effect next year for Downer.
