Chris has achieved an enormous milestone with Downer reaching 40 years of service.

The wider Downer services team gathered at the Brendale site to celebrate Chris.

During Chris’s time at Downer he as:

• Successfully mentored new employees to become part of the team
• Developed a keen eye for risk and hazard awareness, a key skill in our line of business
• Has the ability to operate every piece of plant on an asphalt surfacing site, with his specialties being in asphalt laying, spray seal and the production of AC.

Chris’s fondest memories of working with Downer was the family oriented working environment, which made it enjoyable to go to work with colleagues who turned into mates every day.

Chris is outcome focused with attention to detail regarding quality and workmanship. His problem-solving abilities when it comes to faulty machinery is second to none! Chris is known to always be polite and friendly with clients and has a great rapport with the whole team.
