Blast and paint

We deliver environmentally suitable blast and paint services to support our customers’ needs. Our highly experienced and industry accredited teams ensure we deliver quality of work. Scaffolding services

We operate with a variety of scaffold systems across Australia, providing engineered access solutions for all types of access requirements. We have experience in complex scaffolding erection work for industrial sites, power stations and ports around the country. Working across the Pilbara, Kwinana Industrial facilities and Gladstone industrial areas, our multi-skilled design and installation and teams ensure we deliver productive solutions to our customers.

Rope access

Downer operates in accordance with International Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) safe method of conducting rope access work across a range of industrial sectors. We have undertaken rope access services across BHP, Chevron, Santos and Rio Tinto and currently have over 100 accredited employees working across these locations. We are skilled in undertaking complex work such as chute relines for ore handling process plant which may be difficult for traditional access methods.

Downer delivers over 130 shutdowns, turnarounds and outages a year to customers across the power, energy, industrial and marine sectors in Australia.

Our track record, focus on continual improvement and dedicated shutdown, turnaround and outage (STO) assurance framework are key to our success.

Downer’s STO delivery centres on a six stage model, which outlines the key steps in process planning and highlights best practice solutions when developing plans for shutdowns. This structure provides a repeatable procedure which delivers consistent results.
