About our program
We offer graduates a range of opportunities in engineering, planning, information technology, procurement, legal, finance, human resources, cyber security, robotics and Zero Harm disciplines right across our diverse business including transport, utilities, facilities and defence.
We’re looking for motivated team players who pride themselves on their innovative thinking and service delivery outlook.
To be considered for the Downer graduate program applicants must:
- Be a recent graduate (within the past three years) or a penultimate year student graduating early in the year of the intake
- Have a university degree in the relevant discipline
- Be mobile (able to work and live in any state of Australia)
- Be tenacious and seeking an opportunity to make a significant contribution
- Have the courage to challenge themselves, their surroundings and try new things
- Be achievement oriented and outcomes focused
- Have full Australian working rights.
Our recruitment process
Our recruitment process is diligent and structured to ensure inclusiveness and enable you to put your best foot forward. As you progress through the process you may be required to undertake psychometric assessments, an interview (video and face to face), assessment centre, a pre-employment medical and professional references.
